Nuestro caballo ha partido en segundo lugar y así se ha mantenido hasta la entrada en la recta final. En ese momento, cuando fue solicitado por su jockey, Kieren Fallon, Bagabond Shoes no ha respondido en absoluto, siendo rebasado por el resto de los 8 participantes.
La carrera ha sido ganada por Musir, montado por Christophe Soumillon, que ha batido cómodamente al segundo clasificado, Invisible Man, montado por Frankie Dettori.
