"Equi Chute"

El título de esta entrada del blog es enigmático ... "Equi Chute" ... ¿que quiere decir esto?; sencillamente es el nombre de un sencillo pero gran invento, relacionado con las carreras de caballos y que puede salvar vidas y evitar lesiones graves a los jockeys o a cualquier jinete que sufra una caída montando un équido.

Su nombre proviene del francés, "chute" significa caída y eso es precisamente para lo que sirve : es un simulador de las posibles caídas a caballo para intentar "enseñar" el modo ideal de caer y no esperar simplemente a llegar al suelo.

Lo mejor es ver este invento en acción en un reportaje de la cadena de televisión Equidia en el que aparece su diseñador Bertrand Triguer :

John Francome recordaba, en agosto de 2.010, el día en que se cayo del caballo Golden Rapper, en el Grand National 34 años atrás : " Lo primero que se golpeo contra el suelo fue la nariz del caballo seguida un, segundo después, de la mía y me desperté en el hospital de Walton ".

John sabe de la importancia de prepararse para ese tipo de accidentes por eso estaba presente, al hacer estas declaraciones, en la "British Racing School" en Newmarket donde se ha instalado este gran invento francés conocido com "Equi Chute".

Sencilla idea, sencillo diseño pero de una gran utilidad para evitar muchas lesiones a unos profesionales que arriesgan su vida a diario en miles de hipódromos del mundo.

The title of this blog is enigmatic ... "Equi Chute" ... What does this mean?, It is simply the name of a simple but great invention, related to horse racing and that can save lives and prevent serious injuries to jockeys or any rider who suffers a fall riding an equine.
